Temple of Karnak, Luxor

Upon arrival in Luxor, we headed for the Temple of Karnak, which is also known as Ipet-isut (the most selected of places) by the ancient Egyptians.

The complex is a vast open-air museum and the largest religious site in the world. It is probably the second most visited historical site in Egypt, after the Pyramids. The temple is dedicated to Theban triad of Amun, Mut and Khonsu.
